Crank It Up Vol .1 is the latest release from Big Alliance Records. The CD will feature some banging tunes from the likes of Monolythe, Keemerah, Dan Thomas, Costello, Dada Life, Quaver, Phatfranco and more! (Full track list is at the bottom of this post)

Having already heard most of the tracks that are going to be featured on this release we knew exactly the kind of artwork this needed. Big, loud and in your face!

The title of the CD says it all “Crank It Up“. Whether you listen to your music through headphones or a full surround sound setup, these are tracks that you’re going to want to play with the volume set to MAX! For all the clubbers and DJs, there are some serious dance floor smashers right here!

Big Alliance Records is a record label ran by music giants MONOLYTHE, dedicated to discovering Progressive and Electro songs from the commercial and underground world from both established and new artists.

They were in need of a quick turn around for their latest release from UK heavyweights The Banger Bros. Originally from the UK The Banger Bros now operate from “The Big Apple” New York City.

The Banger Bros are some of the latest artists to get signed to Big Alliance Records with their tunes “Play Dirty” and “Bring the Drums” which are now available at Beatport! With support on their last track “Shake” from the likes of Pete Tong, Radio 1′s Annie Mac, Robbie Rivera and Steve Angello these guys are certainly going places!

Noor B & Chocolate Kiss are two upcoming producers from Poland who are signed to the Straight Up! record label. This is their latest release for Straight Up! after their well supported tracks “RFV” and “Progrsv Boy” which was featured on Straight Up Progressive House!

Alex and the team at Straight Up! were really pleased with the design that we developed for them and would like us to design the covers for their future releases so keep an eye out for more!

“Straight Up Progressive House!” is out now on iTunes and beatport.

We’ve wanted to design our own paper toy for a while but we’ve never got round to doing it. Something we really liked the idea of was a character wearing a hoody with his hands in the front pocket who could stand in front of us on our desk.

We’ve had a lot of fun designing the structure of the toy. The hardest part was getting the angles and measurements correct for the arms! We’re happy with how it’s turned out and can’t wait to see it with some colour on!

At the moment we’re working on a Halloween design for the new “Hoodz” toy, hopefully it will be ready in time! We’ll keep you updated on twitter about when the design will be available!

Moo.com were very cheap and ultra fast, they arrived about 3 days after we ordered them! The quality is also to a very high spec. We only ordered a small amount of cards as we basically just wanted test out moo.com. We are very pleased with the outcome of the cards and no doubt we’ll be using moo.com again in the future!

The flyer also needed to include a tear off section where a rep could fill in a potential customers details in order to contact them in the future regarding the promotion.

We used one of Maxam Photographys’ excellent family portrait photographs for the front of the flyer.

The flyers turned out great and they were very pleased with the outcome.

The leaflet contains a special recipe from The Organic Cupcake Company for 18 delicious, muffin sized “Passioncake Cupcakes.”

There are also cupcakes and prizes to be won for the best fundraisers!

It was great to see all of the students final year films and scripts in their completed form, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves (and the free popcorn!)

We were delighted to see people walking around reading through the booklets we designed and also received a lot of positive feedback about them.

We also designed a couple of A1 posters with the students names and photos on which were placed around the bar to make it easier for guests to recognise the students.

Up coming writer/director Esther Harris was also at the event as one of her films was being screened in the cinema. We recently designed the DVD cover for her film ‘Deceiving’ which will be hitting the film festivals soon.
