Noor B & Chocolate Kiss are two upcoming producers from Poland who are signed to the Straight Up! record label. This is their latest release for Straight Up! after their well supported tracks “RFV” and “Progrsv Boy” which was featured on Straight Up Progressive House!

After listening to the tracks (Un Mundo is our favourite) we had a good idea of what the cover art needed to portray and we’re all really happy with the final outcome!

Being great music lovers with our headphones / speakers almost always pumping out some sort of music, we were all fired up and ready to go when the guys at 4Play Trax got in touch with us explaining that they would like a complete brand overhaul. They were planning on transforming the label into a major contender in the House / Electro House genre.

4Play Trax Logo Already Being Used on Cover Art

The logo they previously had didn’t represent this style of music or the image that they wanted to portray. It focussed heavily on the outline of a woman with the text receiving very little attention from the viewers eye. They still liked the idea of the woman but wanted it developed further.

After we had researched and developed a variety of silhouette styles this is the one they chose. The typeface we used for this logo compliments the silhouette nicely, is easily legible when reduced in size for CD’s and promo material and the different weights of font help the logo flow better and make it easy to read.

Now that the new branding has been finalized, their new website is well underway and currently being designed and developed by us.

Their latest release Dezza – The Pool/Feel has been supported by many well know artists possibly the biggest one being Paul van Dyk!

The Straight Up! record label have been seriously busy recently and needed their site updating with all the latest events. Featuring plenty of new and upcoming tunes from the likes of The Banger Bros, Quaver, Noor B & Chocolate Kiss, their latest compilation “Straight Up Progressive House” and many more, you can check out some of the latest releases on their website or on their YouTube page. New artists Zedd, Dopefish and Yenn join the Straight Up! roster this month, you can find out more about them on the “Artists” section, expect to hear some ear candy from these guys in the future! For now, you can listen to their songs on their Myspace pages!

This new release features some of the more chilled out tracks that have been released via Straight Up! from the likes of Luigi Lusini, Dinka, FAKE, Noor B & Chocolate Kiss, Christian Fischer and many more.

Light Black Design are a design and engineering company working within the automotive and marine sectors. Some of their recent clients include McLaren Automotive, Pendennis Composites, Caparo, Red Bull Technologies and Gordon Murray Design, working on high profile projects such as the McLaren SLR and the Gordon Murray T.25 City Car and many more!

They required a brochure style website that would boost their online presence and also allow prospective clients to find out what the company is all about and what services they can offer.

The site features an integrated content management system (CMS) which will allow them to keep the content of the site maintained and updated. The “Projects” page will have a similar purpose to a “News” page, this is where any company updates and recent projects will be posted.

We’ve been working hard on the new online store for Straight Up! and it’s recently been launched! This will enable them to sell all of their music (MP3s and physical CDs) directly from their website and when a customer makes a purchase they will receive links to the download within seconds. Through their new online store they will be able to offer special discounts and lower prices than other online retailers.

Straight Up! and Big Alliance Records have just launched their first compilation CD titled Big Floor Destroyers Vol 1! Check it out!

Keep an eye on this record label because they just keep getting better and better and have recently been receiving support from many top DJs such as Tiesto and Markus Schulz!

We’ve wanted to design our own paper toy for a while but we’ve never got round to doing it. Something we really liked the idea of was a character wearing a hoody with his hands in the front pocket who could stand in front of us on our desk.

We’ve had a lot of fun designing the structure of the toy. The hardest part was getting the angles and measurements correct for the arms! We’re happy with how it’s turned out and can’t wait to see it with some colour on!

At the moment we’re working on a Halloween design for the new “Hoodz” toy, hopefully it will be ready in time! We’ll keep you updated on twitter about when the design will be available!

We stayed in the St Giles Hotel, where we’ve stayed once before (they do a great breakfast!) It’s location is ideal for us, it’s close to the tube stations, near to Soho and just round the corner from the amazing British Museum. We went to the British Museum last time we went to London, but Spencer is really interested in Egyptology, and the Egyptian artifacts they have in there are unbelievable.

The cameras came with us and we took some photos inside the British Museum, we also managed to get some nice photos of The Pastry Pilgrim, we’ve wanted to get some for a while but not had the chance!

While we were in London we also met with the lovely guys from The Organic Cupcake Company who kindly gave us a box of their delicious cupcakes! We took photos of them as fast as we could before they got devoured!
