Having recently designed and developed the new Perfectly Normal Productions website, they asked us if we could also design a dedicated page for their upcoming production “The Adventures of Sexton Blake” which will be aired or BBC Radio 2 from 31st July – 4th September.

With a cast featuring Simon Jones / Sexton Blake, (The Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy) Wayne Forester / Tinker (Captain Scarlet), and June Whitfield / Mrs. Bardell (Absolutely Fabulous) “The Adventures of Sexton Blake” is sure to be a hit!

For the Sexton Blake button we took inspiration from some old Sexton Blake front covers. This not only represented Sexton Blake well but also fitted with the style of the rest of the Perfectly Normal Productions site.

On the page are also some Sexton Blake downloads such as wallpapers and MP3′s which are ideal for ringtones!

The Perfectly Normal Productions team have a vast range of experience under their belt and have worked for many high profile companies. Their work ranges from radio dramas and panel shows to live and recorded music shows and audio post production.

Perfectly Normal required a new website to coincide with their latest BBC Radio 2 productions, “The Hunt for Sexton Blake” due to launch tonight (28/7/09) at 10:30pm and “The Adventures of Sexton Blake” which is due to launch on 31/7/09.

One of their initial ideas was to use a mixed media style including some hand drawn elements in the design, while maintaining that they are a highly professional company. Taking this into account we developed a hand drawn style for the site and implemented the sketches into the design of the website in places such as the navigation bar and social media icons.

The site also features an MP3 player where visitors can listen to the latest trailers for upcoming productions.
